If you haven’t seen the wave of loosened jeans making a comeback, then where have you been?! Mom jeans are on the rise and everyone is totally loving them. Now, don’t be fooled by the name “mom jeans” because in this post I’m gonna show you how to rock mom jeans without looking like a mom (even though moms kill these jeans too! S/O to the moms!).

Mom jeans truly are the most comfortable things, however, the only thing I have struggled with while wearing them is finding a pair that actually fits. They can be to tight on the butt, or thighs, or to loose on the waist. It’s a trek finding a pair that fits just right (trust me, I understand the struggle) but once you find that pair that your jean life will be changed for the better, I can promise that! Like I said the big thing I struggle with is finding a pair that aren’t to big on my waist but with mom jeans the waist is usually pretty boxy which is why I always where a belt with them but honestly, we can sacrifice a little fit for jeans that aren’t suctioned to your body. Urban Outfitters is what change the game for me, they have a light jean material and flattering style, they are groundbreaking!
This is a really simple look, I just thew on the jeans from Urban with a belt that has two circles (I like to call it my very far off Gucci replica LOL). I put on my favorite Brandy Melville simple black tank top, a Brandy Melville cropped zip up (yeah, I know I have an obsession with Brandy Melville) and my go to white Converse! This is a really easy style to throw on for day-to-day life, like running to the grocery store to get those Girl Scout cookies I’ve been trying to avoid, or going to class, I’ve even wore this to dinner. I am slowly building my collection of mom jeans and I am here for the movement of them! They are comfortable and cute and I wouldn’t have the wave of mom jeans making a comeback any other way!!
Also, shout out to the inaccurate forecast of spring weather and taking these photos in the rain! Hopefully, I can wear this outfit in the sun soon. I hope this post inspires you guys to join me on the wild ride of mom jeans instead of jeans that are saran wrapped to your body.
XX Love, Mc Kenzie
